Is there a technique for removing the pretend jubliee clips on coolant hoses? The ones that look like they've been squeezed on with a pair of pliers.

There's quite a few on my car and i haven't decided if they are reuseable or not? :?

I generally remove them all (with a hammer and chisel for speed's sake) then replace the lot!

Pair of pliers.

Bin the 'pretend' clips and replace with conventional ones.

assuming you don't have the pretend clip tooling
