bob think you have a typo in this post - been watching this one in the other thread - should the torque drop off like this?

I would have thought the guys would have been able to pin this down fairly quickly for you - lot of knowledgeable guys on here (myself excluded) - did the guy at the rolling road make any comment?

The only thing he said was at the very top end it had a small misfire he said try new plugs.

I did asking him about the BHP but he did not know to much about the e30 all he said like everyone here is its not the 320i

I'm guess 2.5 BHP and TQ waay too high for a B20

If she won't pull past 5K full throttle in any gear then the WOT switch is probably the culprit.

BPR6ES FTW if you get new plugs !!

because the power starts dropping then so its pointless revving it anymore on the RR, prehaps it could be a typo too with the printout

Where did you get this ECU number from? Glove box or under the steering wheel?

OK that is the wrong ECU, the glove box ECU is for your ABS.... Look underneath the steering column above the pedals... What have you got?

Well it is indeed a 325i ECU the thing is a 325i should rev to 7000 although they wont make power all the way up there they will rev that high..

Something is not right.... Wonder what would happen if you plugged in another 325i ECU?

I wonder if the throttle position switch is working properly? Could also be a fueling issue maybe your fuel pressure regulator cant keep up..

afcbob, I have posted an answer for you here at your original thread.

You need to tell me how the rolling road operator measured your engines RPM. Did he put a clamp on one of the plug leads, or did he calculate your engine speed based upon the speed of the rollers? The reason I ask is because I think the x-axis (RPM) of your graph may be in error.
