Mine had 18's on it when i first bought it. It had standard shocks with 60mm drop springs on it no rubbing even five up. It had 225/35's on it. Depends on the way you drive but i like to give it some stick now and again and with the 18's just didnt feel right the acceleration wasnt up to much (unless you have the power like scots 327) and cornering was a bit pants but if your just gonna be cruising round it will be fine. But and this is what someone told me be bigger wheels put alot of strain on the front wheel bearings and knocks them out quite quickly has or does anyone else know if thats true would like to know.

i had 18s on my sport, 215-35-18s, lowered approx 50-60mm, no rubbing, not to bad a drive unless you went motorway & tramlined everywhere
