Hello again, once again the daily has developed a strange fault ad its come from nowhere. the car seems to turn over incredibly slow like the battery is flat however it slowly speeds up and then starts. any ideas?

Try all the above, but I expect the problem is the starter motor. It's effectively two motors in one casing, and it sounds like one of the brushes for one of them is sticking.

After volt testing the battery it was only holding 6v, so well and truly cream crackered. managed to get a £69.99 4 year guaranteed battery from halfords for just £29.44 god i love my trade card. thanks for the replies. Always good to have support.

I tend to assume you've done the very basics, like checking the battery voltage, before posting on here!
