hi, im getting water through the drivers side vent were the wiper arm is, how do i remove this vent to inspect? it runs down behind the clutch pedal into the footwell and makes quite a puddle, ive had to remove carpets and sounds a lot louder without. expect there is a little rust hole behind this vent?

cheers

The vent is removed by sliding it downwards against the spring clips at the bottom edge, lifting it out at the top, and then off at the bottom. It is replaced in the reverse manner, NOT by engaging the plastic lugs at the top then pushing in the spring clips at the bottom.
