what the difference between them all?
im guessing from what i have read that the 3:91 is the better one ?
which car are they one?

none of them are "better" than any other.

basically the higher the number the lower the gearing.
so a 3.91 will give better acceleration than a 3.64
but at the expense of mpg and refinement (more revs at high speeds)


its purpose is to allow both wheels to get traction, instead of the wheel with least resistance spinning it all away.

it also has the "benefit" of making a car more lively at the rear under power, cos as both wheels can spin u can then "push" the car wide, or even spin it on the spot - eg a donut.
