320i to 325i?

whats involved in swaping a 2.0 to a 2.5 what would i have to change other than the engine.

If you want 325 performance, you can install a 325 trottle body and a chip, But if you already bought the 325 engine, skip my idea......

the acutal swap i beleive is pretty simple.


the engines use same mounts, same connector plug to the loom etc.

ud need to change the ecu
add the oil cooler
oh and change the diff too.



tbh unless the car is well modded or specced REALLY high it is imo easier to sell it and buy a real 325i
