Basically the cable for my sunroof has either come unclipped or snapped and in it's current position it's leaning down at the back of the roof slightly forcing air into it and creating loud wind noises as I drive along.

May seem silly but i can't work out how to remove either part of the sunroof (or winder mechanism) without breaking any of it.
If anyone can help that'd be dappa cheers.

Sounds like you need to adjust the lid position.
Put the thing in the 'tilt' position first.
You should now be able to see three torx headed screws on each side,these blighters adjust the position of the lid,aim to have the thing just a little lower at the rear,about half a mill or so.

Thanks for the reply, but I can't move the sunroof at all using the lever (i'm not exactly sure how it works but my old capri, the clip on the cable came off and i guess this was the same sort of thing).

I've got a couple of pics;

This is as far up as I can get the back of the board inside

The lever is just hanging with no tension at all

I'm thinking that i need to totally remove the boards to sort this but am unaware how to :(
