Well I bought another E30 and went to go fit test my borbets then ran into a problem. The bottlecaps have a key lock, the ones that you have to have an actual key for. Well on the o/s rear wheel it looks like someone tried to get it off with a screwdriver and now I cant get the key into the key hole. Im new to the country and have no idea where to take it to as I dont have the proper tools at my place. Im a DIY kind of guy and would like to fix it by myself rather then taking it anywhere anyways. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jeremiah

They can be removed with a screwdriver and hammer quicker than opening the glovebox and finding the key!

just try wiggling the actual locking part with the pliers in the glovebox, I couldn't get the key into mine last night, but moving the locking collar about a bit allowed me to get the key in.

I'm sure I read on here that these were some of the best locking wheel nuts you can get

Well its just one thats messed up. I guess the one thats messed up ill try to hammer a chisel in it to shatter the locking mechanism. If that dont work ill drill it.
