Swopping doors on to my 320i - donor doors are Alpine white, but do not have the twin pinstriping . I have located a full roll of the exact correct striping (loads of spare if anyone needs some!) BUT - one side has the striping going behind the door handles, the other side the striping stops around 10mm either side of the handles. which one is correct? Anorak detail, I know, but as I'm doing the job it may as well be right!!

When I fitted stripes as a valeter I always cut them either side of the handle. Lapping stripes under door edges and behind handles looks amateur IMHO. But like most styling questions it's just a matter of personal taste.
