I've seen an E30 I like but it's got a cracked dash, I assume the E36 won't since it's a wider car but I was just wondering?

If not are all E30 dashes the same or do some have extras?

I've read that convertible dashes are different but the rest are all the same.

I've seen a Z3 dash in a E30 8)

Cracked dashes are very common in E30s, but so are replacement second-hand uncracked ones.
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

You can get the E30 dash repaired, think I saw it in a copy of Total BMW mag a while back!
You can fit the E36 dash into a E30 but I wouldn't recommend it as it's alot if work! 8)

A repair is almost as much as a replacement dash!!

I've got one, mint and un-cracked if you want.

Gree with Brian, took me 1/2 hour to get the dash out in my car... and as far as a repair I have heard from a repairer that they will always crack again in exact;y the same place..

Go for a new one mate, putting one in from another car ahas all sorts of issues such as A/C and heating pipes wont be the same..
