Hi there,

If someone happens to have a 13 button OBC that was factory fitted to a UK E30 325i Touring without Catalytic Converter, I'd be glad to know which codeplug version was used. The codeplug is slotted into the back of the OBC unit

The following table is referenced on the German E30 site www.e30.de (http://wp1016621.wp027.webpack.hosteuro ... 074/01.jpg)

It advises

Type 3-9 or 4-6 for cars without catalytic converter and 3-12, 3-13 and 4-6 for cars with catalytic converter. The basis for the different codes isn't clear to me but probably has to do with fuel tank sizes being either 55 or 65 litres and 70 for South African cars, Normal Fuel Consumption etc.

Thanks in advance, Sharknose
