buying advice

Hi

Could I get some adivce on what to look out for when buying a 318i cabby? I'm looking at FSH 1500000 miler.
Are the 4 cylinder engines as bullet proof as the straight six?

Realise the hood is an area to look out for but any other areas prone to leaks, or troubles?

I Currently have a 325 touring so know the general problem areas!

M40 engines are 100% bulletproof. They do suffer from faulty hydraulic tappets very often, but this doesn't stop them running.
Rust and hood are the things to check.
