will the M3 dash fit a 325i?

i'm aware the tacho will only read 2/3 of what it should (assuming it works on every ignition pulse...) but this can probably be swapped over.

i'm really after binning the economy gauge. it only ever reads 5mpg when i drive it!!!

this seems the nicest OEM way of fitting a oil pressure gauge, something the 325i sadly lacks!

I think you mean oil temp gauge as the M3 only has the pressure light not gauge.
You will also need to add sensor and extra wiring as the M3 has an extra 3pin plug giving power, earth and sensor.

i knew that! 8O :D

well, the oil temp gauge is even better than pressure!

a 2nd set of gauges will probably have to be fitted at some point anyway... oil pressure & temperature are imo essential for any fast/tuned car.. especially an old one!

If you knew it then why were you talking about pressure gauges when the m3 ain't got one.

Yes it will fit.
You need to wire up the temp switch.

I did the smae thing when I asked about one that was for sale here on the Zone. I knew it was oil temp but for some reason I wrote oil pressure. I think I was also looking at oil pressure guages at the same time and I got confused.
