Can someone tell me what is the recommended way to clean the AFM? I have seen references to using carb cleaner for the actual cleaning, but can't find instructions on how to remove it in the Haynes Manual.
Thanks,
Kevin.

The cover over the actual AFM pot. is stuck on, and has to be prised off, then stuck on afterwards with a bead of silicon rubber.
To clean the track, I would use Servisol switch cleaner, followed by a light spray of silicon grease.
If the track is actually worn, then it is possible to bend the wiper arms slightly, so that they contact a fresh part of the track.
