Hi, I'm going to remove my windscreen soon to fix the rot behind it. Can anyone tell me where is best to get the tools to do so? or does anyone on here?

Thanks

You don't really need any tools above a flat head screwdriver to remove a windscreen. The tool for re-fitting the trim strip will save much swearing though when it's time to put it back in...

+1

I wouldn't even consider refitting the windscreen without the tool. £7.50 from eBay, and make the windscreen a 10 minute job.

That listing says the large one is suitable for an E30.

You shouldn't use washing up liquid anyway! It contains salt, which compressed between the rubbers and the body isn't very good from a rust perspective.

Why would I need to put it anywhere near the body? Its to help the locking strip go back in the glass seal, I would normally use wash&wax for a car I care about :)
