Early (Chrome) bumper removal???

How do i go about removing the bumpers (early chrome type) on my E30 2 door?

Front or rear?
I know for the rear there are some nuts to undo in the boot begind the trim

I have taken off all the 8mm and 10mm nuts in the back edge and side of the boot and it still wont come off!

I think you need to take off the clips that join the side and rear bumper then should just pull out im pretty sure?
