Thinking of converting the front lights to smileys.
Has anyone done this and is it straight forward.
I have a breaker to get all the parts/wiring from.
The headlights at present are shite even though i put new Xenon bulbs in(not cheap),and my last G reg E30 had excellent lights!
Cheers guys

the plugs on the back of the lights may be different. this is fixed by cutting off the plugs on the new set and soldering them to yours.

early car - you need to solder in later type connectors
later car - they are a straight swap

you may well find that the 3 screws are almost impossible to remove without breaking the plastic mount.
You may be forced to drill or grind them off.

never had a problem with the screws, just use an impact driver with a large phillips screwdriver tip gives you the extra force needed
