I've got some electric headlamp adjusters from a 92 E34, which I intend to fit into an E30 to replace the hopeless hydraulic adjusters. IIRC, someone on here has done this successfully.
I've just spent a couple of hours tracing through the E34 loom, and have worked out that there are three wires connecting to the panel control (+ light), and three wires connecting to each motor, all connected in parallel.
The black wire just connects between the three items, but the other two, brown/orange and grey/black have multiple connections going off elsewhere. Can anyone tell me where these go please?

are they not linked to the +12v to the headlamps?

Brian,
If you let me know your e-mail address, I'll shoot you over the circuit diagram.
The quality is a bit iffy, but it's readable.
Ian.

Thanks for the e-mail Ian.
Since I posted I noticed that the feed into the instrument light dimmer switch on the E34 loom was grey/black, and I know there are brown/orange earth wires in the engine loom of an E30, but I just couldn't trace them to an earth ring connector on the E34 loom.
