can't help u specifically jon, sorry to clutter ur thread
but i removed 2 systems recently one from a m20 and one from an m10, and the comp-engine mounts were totally different. and the bracket could not be swapped between compressors so different compressor for different engine
could do with knowing if my m10 compressor will fit an m40 or other engine by swapping the bracket - it don't go on my m30 and who wants to fit airon to an m10?

I have heard that it is more trouble than it's worth to retro-fit air con. It would be easier and cheaper to buy a car with it already fitted as standard.

jon (or anyone!)
i'm assuming all m20 blocks would use the same compressor mount points (i.e. early or late, 2.0 or 2.5). anyone know if this is the case, or if there's external diffferences between blocks.
if not i'm going to be getting a similar headache to you jon
on a separate subject, on the offchance that an m10 compressor uses the same mounts as an m40, i have one available. can get u pics of mount points if u interested
