hi guys ,
got a 316i m40 engined tourer and its not working
this morning i went out for a quick drive came back and it wouldnt start up again the next time i tried to go out it sounded like it had dropped one or two cylinders then all of a sudden it started working again and was fine drove about 20 miles and to get new tyres into the workshopp and it wouldnt drive out again ... dizzy cap has a crack in it but i think its been there fora while and doubt it happened since driving to letchworth this morning its still getting spark and there is fuel coming out the back theres no sign of oil in the water or vice versa and its not chuffing out of the filler cap so i dont think its a ring ..
gonna do a compression test tomorrow but what else should i try gonna try a second hand dizzy cap and rotor tomorrow because i dont have the cash to spend out on a new one.
316i dies wont run ...
