my tourer is having a slight cutting out issue... it just randomly jerks around a bit... i think it is fuel related.... could it be the pump? and how would i go about checking it if this is possible. most of the time its ok..... but just started a bit today after a hardcore drift shakedown session this afternoon with dave......

any thoughts (and spare 325 pumps) appreciated, as shes gonna be drifting on monday and last thing i need is pump failing,..,,

cheers

car seems fine most of the time.....

however... it did it agian today for a bit... it seems as if it is fine on full throttle WOT but struggles everywhere else

i think it could be the AFM or ecu....

damn i need the car spot on tmro... i dont need cutting out

i opened afm and the trakkcs look spot on....

and i am getting a ecu of dave later this evening

i also noticed that one of the wires (green with purples stripe) going into the fuel pump relay had melted its sheath so i sorted that out.....could this have caused it

My car cuts out abit sometimes, i got told from a bmw specialist that its the connector block for the main engine loom and injector loom, he said if i cut off the connector and solder all the wires together i will have no more bad idle and cutting out issues,i did look at the connector and all the conctacts are very corroded, i clened it but still same although ailttle beter, just wondered if anyone else has done this?
