Electric hoods on the cabs......

......when the roof goes up on a cab with an electric hood is it supposed to open fully to the latching down points or do you have to pull it down to them?

Is it the same when closing you have to give the hood a push up when closing? to help it fold down or is this a sign of age that the motors are a little slow and dont work properly?

You have to manually open and close the first part of it by releasing the handles and pushing the hood up and vice versa when closing.
