Been giving the car a wash and vac following all the shit weather and noticed that there is water getting into the boot and also into the car under the back seat.
The water in the boot is getting in somewhere near the bottom right hand far corner because the corner of the panel behind the back seat is wet.
I have also had the back seat removed and noticed that it is quite wet underneath on the right hand side.
I don't think the two areas of water are from the same leak. Anybody got any ideas where the leaks could be?
Steve.

Bet yours has a sunroof! Don't know about the wet boot, but the water under my right hand back seat turned out to be the drivers side sunroof rear drain channel rusted off allowing water to drain off the roof lining and down the c-pillar to emerge on the front edge of the rear wheel arch.
Nothing showed up but eventually the carpet was sodden. I found the cause by removing all the rear seats and trim and slowly pouring about half a cup of water into the rear sunroof channel; the water that ran to the front drainage hole emerged immediatley under the car just in front of the front door; the water which went to the rear trickled slowly out of the bottom of the c-pillar after about 20 seconds and pooled on the metal pan where the rear seat sits.
I bet if you pull down the roof lining from above the rear window you will find the cause. Good luck

Just done the half a cup of water test and it's exactly as you described. Not looked at the condition of the drain tube yet, hope it's not too bad!!
Thanks.
Thanks.
I had the same problem with the boot. check the seals on the rear lights and the rubber strip that the top half of the boot pushes against when the boot is closed. I also ended up putting new big drain holes in the far left and right deep bits of the boot. the bit where the jack etc goes.
