hi guys, can anyone help?
my 318iS suffers a really bad petrol smell inside the cabin, especially when i floor it.
i've been told its just perished fuel lines and i need to replace them (the rubber ones that is) but i was wondering if anyone else had the same problem?
Petrol stinks!!!

deffo the hoses to the fuel rail, get them sorted as soon as possible, also check down to the fuel filter, you should be able to see the leak

Get it fixed ASAP, petrol leaks and hot engines don't mix!

just correct me if i am wrong, but the fuel line runs from the tank under the carpet somewhere or through the center console under the gear box etc. ?

not sure wheather the differ from e30 to e30 but on mine they are more or less behind the front passenger wheel under the car. that is where the rubber hose is conected off the solid line. easy to replace mate just remember to disconect the battery first.

On the 318is you need to remove the intake manifold to gain access to the two small lengths of fuel hose that will need changing...
Bit o a PIA job, but don't take toooo long!

I've got exactly the same prob and been like it for a couple of months now. Just not gotten round to fixing it.
Will sort it in the next couple of days though hopefully!
Looked on the ECP site but couldn't find any part numbers for the fuel lines. Anyone know if they stock them?
