Sorry guys iv been searching for nearly an hour and can’t find a definitive answer im changing the gearbox and open diff oil. I know i can run ATF as apposed to the SAE 80 but is Fuchs Dextron II ok as i have a gallon of it in the garage or does it have to be Dextron III. Also what’s suggested for the diff or do you all stick to SAE 90 spec.

Sorry if its a repeated question and i can’t use the search function well enough.

Thanks in advance Ben

bump - I wanna know too. My gearbox oil change was really thick but seems to be loosening up - was standard grade. Same for the diff but wouldn't mind trying some fancy sh!t there if it would make it quieter - some touring-whine going on
