Hi all

After driving 300 or so miles over the weekend to and around Dorset from London, I seem to have lost a couple of parts from my wheel hubs as I forgot to put on the centre caps (I normally keep them off for safe keeping).

I am not sure how important these caps are, but I would hazard a guess of pretty important as they cover a retaining nut.

The first picture shows how my front two wheels appear with the centre cap clearly visible in the middle of the hub.

The second picture shows my rear wheels with the centre cap missing and the nut on the hub is clearly shown that rests behind the cap.

I have had a look here for the parts but cannot see them

Does anyone know the part numbers for the caps? If so, do they come in packs of two/four? How much are they? Alternatively, can somebody supply me with four? I am going to Gaydon on Sunday so I can collect from someone there or buy from someone there.

Cheers

I didn't think the rears had caps - well every E30 I've ever had hasn't had them - maybe coincidence???

the rears don't have a cap. the fronts do to stop crap getting to close to the wheel bearing would be my guess as to why they are there.

So it's normal don't worry!
