I've done searches and looked at the wiki but can't find an idiot's guide (and believe me, I'd need two promotions to even be an idiot) on how to find, open, inspect and if necessary clean the AFM on an M42. I've got a barely perceptible idle murmur and from what I've seen on here it might be a dirty AFM?

I'd be really grateful for any help.

Thanks
