Am changing rear suspension arms to discs, need to get a socket to undo the nut holding the driveshaft to the hub. Looks about 30 - 32mm to me?
Bentley manual says it is very tight, so need exactly the right socket to shift it - I've got breaker bars up to 3/4" drive for leverage. Any advice gratefully received.
Driveshaft nuts - what size? -Update!!!!

Have found out - they are 30mm. One word of advice to anybody changing driveshafts - the Haynes comic says 'pull out locking collar before removing nut' - unless you are a miracle worker, you will have to trash the old locking collars to get them out - small chisel, screwdriver etc. So don't forget to buy new ones from the dealer before you start the job! - ps Haynes says the nuts are very tight - mine undid fine with a 1/2" breaker bar.

Alpine White rules!!!
Just about to start on the rear end, now I've got the locking collars out and the hub nuts loose!
I'm taking the axle carrier/diff out as well as the rear arms, cos the axle carrier bushes are sh**ged, so I'm gonna be busy! - also fitting Goodridge hoses all round, so removing the axle carrier will defo help when changing the inner rear flexi hoses over. Will post more as my knuckles get skinned!!
