First of all lay some old cushions or something similar down in a safe area. Next remove the plastic insert from the windscreen rubber. Then you want to gently push the screen out at the top from inside ( better with two people for this - one either side of the car) The rubber will most probably be stuck to the screen as it won't have been disturbed for a while so take your time and with gentle pressure on the screen the rubber should separate from the glass. When it does pull the top of the glass away from the car while lifting the bottom of the screen out of the rubber insert. Then carefully place the screen on your old cushions. Relax and have a cold beer. Job done.

Taylor.

Pull the seats right over and sit with your feet on the screen and push. Ideally have two other people on hand to help.
The glass is immensely strong (within reason) except at the edges, where it will shatter with the tiniest knock.
As the glass moves forwards, get the assistants to ease the glass out of the rubber.

It's out already. A little traumatic, as i didnt want to break it.
Since i want need ing the outer rubber, I cut that away with Stanleys Knife.
As you said the rubber was stuck to the screen, so with my trusty BMW screwdriver, I pushed the rubber on the inside of the car outward to loosen its hold.
Take off the windscreen wipers and place it gently on the carpet covered bonnet.

Just need to do it again with mine (no knife) and it will be in!
