Ok...

I just installed my OBC...the only thing that is missing is the Horn? ...this is the white clip which comes of the same loom as the temp senosr which is a yellow clip (P.S ..Dazleeds you still need to send me the bits cuz at the moment im using TourinDaddys :P)

Why have i got a continious Beep from the Gong...haven thad it on the road yet but the OBC looks fine and operated ok form the stalk Etc..so as far as im aware there is not problems with the unit..

2 questions.:

What is the Horn for which should be connected to the White clip
And would this have something to do with the continious beep ive got ATM

Has anyone fitted a OBC and had this problem?

Cheers

Hmm..

you mean the standard BMW alarm that was factory fitted when it was born?..

Shouldnt of thought that would make the Gong go of with a continious Tone when IGN is switched on

The last OBC I fitted did the gong..., gong..., gong..thing as well. It was the gong itself acting up, and I think I cured it by making a mod inside the gong (rather than find the actual fault) or it might just have cured itself after a few days.Only a few months ago, but the memory's going.
The horn is the alarm for the CODE function, and the OBC should read minus so many degrees with the temp sensor missing, and the gong will sound when you turn the ignition on as an ice warning.
