How much would it cost to replace both rear arches on a e30 325i?
Is it a hard job?
Is there anywhere that sells body parts, apart from a dealership, or is it a case of looking in the scrappys?
Also I'm going to look at the car this weekend, what main things should I look for before I buy?
Cheers.

Personally, rust around the rear wheel arches is the one thing I reject an E30 for. Rust anywhere else is relatively easy to deal with, with a few cutting tools and a MIG.
Bear in mind that you only see about 10% of the rust.
Having said that, if the rest of the car is good and of decent spec, and the price is right, then go for it.

it's a 325i sport, with factory fit bodykit and sport interior with full electric pack, done 137k miles and is Ԛ£300
I'll keep looking though.
Cheers for the help.

It will probably be rotten under the kit as well but the panels are peanuts and you can get just the arches rather than the whole quarter.
If you strip it yourself and know somone in the trade that can weld you could have it back on the road for the price of a spray job.

There is NO nucleus.

Sounds like that could be a good Ԛ£300 worth if all the trim and mechanical bits are in good condition. Be prepared to spend out quite a bit more to sort the bodywork though.

if you bought it for 300 quid you could sell the sport mtech bodykit easily for that (i have seen them over 500 notes) and if in good nick the interior worth cash too. why not buy it, then find a good condition 325 non sport 2 door, then swap the kit, interior, shocks and springs, engine (optional) gear box and diff. then you would have almost a real sport
rather that then messing around with a rotten body, if your half handy with the spanners you could do most of it in a week.
