If it's in that area, and it's not the ICV or TPS, it could be an empty plug on the loom that used to control the fuel vapour switch (runs to the carbon canister on lambda-equipped cars.)

What are the colours on the cable? What model is your car - oh, and age?

It is the plug that goes to the recirculating system connected with the carbon cannister, not all cars are equipped with it.

More important than the plug is to ensure that the tapping into the inlet manifold associated with it is properly blanked off.
