Hi Guys,
I brought my 325 out for a track day yesterday for the first time and noticed a few problems.
The brakes seemed to be cookin very early on and the ABS light was contsantly on. She overheated very easily so I had to keep the heater on full blast in order to keep the air flow going through.
I'm not the most technical person but i am assuming that i could do with uprated brake pads and fluid with a higher boiling point, should the discs or calipers be changed too? What fluid, pads etc would you suggest?
Also is the stock fan the best bet or would a different type be more benficial??
What other things would you suggest in order that she is in good condition for the track?
This is purely a track car so i dont need to worry about legality on roads or anything!
All help and advice is appreciated!
Thanks,
Stevo

Brake fluid - Castrol SRF if you can afford it, if not Motul RBF600
Pads - Ferodo DS2500
You might also want to try ATE power discs on the front, and some braided hoses (you need the 6 line kit)
Was it a facelift 325i or an earlier one? The later ones have cooling ducts for the brakes at the front, if you have an older one, then it might be worth removing the foglights and putting some ducting in their place for cooling the brakes
