Im bein a lazy bastard n not using the search function but i was wondering if it was possible to fix the wobbly back syndrome on some e30 seats.. my passengers seat has a small case of it..

na jokes its the mecanism it get worn so i think you can tinker with them to sort it

Something else that might be worth checking if the seats ar a bit wobbly are the pins that attach the seat to the rinners and act as a pivot for the seatbase height adjustment, mine had a little slack in them so I replaced them, only a few quid IIRC from the stealers....

http://www.esatclear.ie/~bpurcell/318isseat.html has a pretty comprehensive guide on how to pull the seats apart.
My drivers seat had a severe wobble - turned out that the bracket listed as the third problem had sheared at the corner. Got a mate to weld it up, and is now good as new.
