Sounds like there is a mouse right behind the steering wheel!

Anyone ever had this?

Any ideas?

prob the upper bearing if its in the column byt more likely a shroud/trim related issue... my old one did it

would it be the bearing if theres a kind of groaning, grinding noise when going to opposite lock when staitionary?

its one of these things where every time it happens i think "i'll look into that" but forget all about it 2 mins later :roll:

try putting a bit of cheese on your indicator stalk ....coax the little fella out..!

Or check your power steering reservoir is filled to the mark..!!

my steering wheel mouse only wakes up when the car has been in the baking sun for a while..

if u grease the horn contact (copper ring on the under side of the steering wheel) then the mouse should move house :wink:
