Steering UJ rubber coupling thickness?

Hi,

As the subject says im after the thickness of the rubber doughnut.

This is because i plan to do the Z3 rack conversion, but i want to do away with the rubber bit in the UJ so i get a more positive steering feel.

If anyone knows, please let me know

the wiki i used many moons ago was accurate. however looking at it now. the images are minute and i cant make out what the dimensions ought to be. have you tried looking at the wiki page? maybe your comp can view the images better. i think i made mine 10mm thick. sorry couldnt be of much use
