pluggy thing?

firstly hello ! looks like a good place to be

wonder if any1 can tell me, i removed my cluster to see why my tachos not working and found no voltage from them batterys i read about on here, but as i was removing it i noticed a yellow plug on the back?

mine had a white and blue one but no yellow one,
any1 know what thats for if im supposed to have 1? and could it be why me fuel guage is dead lol

welcome to the zone, yes a very good place to be!!

both mine also only have a blue and white one pluus the couple of small wires connected in there too. no yellow big plug.

as for fuel guage i am sure brian moooooooore will give you his usual excellent answer, he is the electric, engine, transmission, seat, etc guru!

as for my 10 pence worth... yes a flat battery could cause fuel guage problems as well as temp guage and tacho etc

Yellow socket is for the OBC.
Get your SI board sorted before you look any further for gauge problems, and, as for engine guru - look at my thread "missfire" to see what an utter dog's breakfasr I've made of sorting my own engine problems!
