In the heavy rain recently, the seal above the windows has let water in both sides. The rubber is getting on a bit, and feels a bit 'dry'. The stealers want over Ԛ£90 for the main seal that runs around the front of the windscreen and back to near the rear of the door window tops.
Has anyone got a reasonable one they could flog me, or has anyone got any ideas of how I could bodge this for a while till I've got a spare Ԛ£90 odd?

This is a common one for cabs.
If you look at the top corners of the screen surround, you'll see chunky bits of black rubber. This mates up with the rubber seal on the hood itself.
If these get dry (which they do regularly) then instead of the two parts sliding together smoothly and forming a watertight seal, the two rubber parts tend to 'grab' at each other and don't seat correctly allowing water in.
The solution is a thin smear of silicone grease to your 'chunky bits' (try not to get too excited
