just putting my sport back 2 getha after 2 months of b'in stripped and i cant remember which way the thermostat sits lol,can sum 1 pls put me out of my misory so i can carry on putting her back 2 getha pls,thx

Think the pointy bit faces the near side of the car....if that makes any sense?

Bentley says the notch or arrow should point up .... having doubts now as I can't remember which way round I put mine .

thx for the help guys sorted it now,it was a good job u posted that diagram up for me cuz i put the o ring gasket the wrong side of the stat,he he silly me
