heat shield/cool air box

hi guys,
im installing a new K&N air filter soon and will make a heat shield at the same time.
the best way to make it seems to be to make a cardboard template then cut it out of allumium or something.

does anyone actually have a template on their computer for this?

i thought there might be one our there as opposed to making the template myself, but its not really a big deal. even vague measurements of a heat shield would be usefull.

Doing the same thing myself (might even make the 1st template today) will post on my findings.
