Should be no more than Ԛ£20 per side for the rears, mission impossible to fit though!

It's one of those jobs best left to your mechanic!

I feared that might be the case. Luckily my mate is a mechanic, can see some gentle persuasion coming into play..... Any idea on the book time? I'm just presuming its the bearings, slight rumbling when cornering at low speeds, already changed axle carrier bushes which were caned. Reckon my sport might have been pushed sideways a few too many times.... :?

Sounds very likely to be wheel bearings, ad like you say these sort of cars are prime for a lot of sideways action from some over enthusiastic previous owners!

No idea on the book time though sorry, but I'm sure if your mech is a mate, it won't be too long! :D

pretty hard to change but can be done.......

they are very hard to knock out from the hub so ingenious use of a threaded rod is required to bodge up a puller of some sort...

also the outer part of the inner race of the bearing stays on the hub sometimes so u may need a puller to remove this
