Hey people,

Just about to bleed the pipes, so my mate has given me his 'eezi-bleed pneumatic bleeder', bless him.

So how on earth does that work then?

Ive got two bottles, a pipe (or two) and a valve!

Do i need a spare tyre for this one, or an actual compressor?

Pretty easy to use.

attach it like this.

Image

put new brake fluid into the bottle.

attach other end to your spare tyre (at 20PSI ish)

open each of the bleed nipples in sequence until new fluid is seen through the pipe.

keep an eye on the fluid level in the bottle/reservoir.

bleed sequence is:
Rear right
Rear left
Front right
Front left

Dead easy to use, hardest part is opening the bleed nipples.

if you have an old wheel / tyre, use that instead of the ones on the car. if you're stoopid (like me) it's possible to get brake fluid inside the tyre :o:

Cracking replies, cheers fellas....
But my problem is that the eezi-bleed my mate has given me is not the pictured by Monsieur Smithy!
Its the pneumatic one, well this is what it looks like anyway.

Looks a bit complicated to just bleed brakes!

Anyone know how this one works?

indeed, that does look like it needs a compressor, unless there is an adaptor to hook it up to a car tyre

It turns out it is compressor based.
All good, I just bled the brakes the good ol' fashion way with a pipe and mate on the brake pedal!
Thanks for the help anyway, makes me feel a bit dumb to ask as stupid question like that, but hey ho!

Nice One!
