325 overheating?

well just fitted a new viscous coupling ,topped up and obviously had air in .two or three top ups now level is constant.idling for about twenty minutes and sits just under half..... :D good good good.blast it come back and remove coolant cap level same no pressure.........i am happy cos i thought that i was gonna have to behead my touring!!running cool and i must say i can hear my fan now whirr when revved up ....so the old one must have been totally fooked .best 35 quid ive spent in years. 8)
