right iv had a slight leak on the engine since i put the thing in and it's starting to get a little worse, so iv investigated and i recon its comming from the crankshaft oil seal, so my question is how hard is it to do with the engine still in the car?

I think it maybe tricky as you need to take the housing for the seal off, and the housing is also bolted in to the sump pan. Which will mean you might not set the sump pan seal corrrectly when refitting, which will only cause more leaks.

How bad is it leaking?

Is superglue not an option?

seriously tho its got to be done as im leaving oil every where i park the car and now im sick of it,

so do you think it'll be better taking off the sump first, and putting it back on? i dont mind getting my hands dirty, and i think there gonna get caked in oil on this mission.

FACT: M20s leak oil. Cure one, it'll leak somewhere else.
Which crank seal by the way? There's one each end.
