The back box on my Touring is solid but not so solid are the straps that hold it, they have rusted out.....
Where can a get some more?

Mines fully wired on,as long as it's secure there is nothing in the MOT handbook which says what material should be used to hold the exhaust on,in fact,mines been hung on wire for more than one MOT.Ritz wrote:Had a similar problem on my Sport once. Just get replacement bracket from BMW.

X5 V8 for thrills, CRV for chills, Range Rover P38 V8 for sooooo much aggravation...

GSF supply an 'exhaust fitting kit',this gives you all the brackets complete with nuts and bolts.
