Hi all.

Ive tried searching the forum but for some reason i cant find an answer to my question.
Ive got a '88 320i 4 door and was wondering, will a 2 door interior fit ?
i know the door cards obviously wont, but as there seems to be alot of 2 dr stuff for sale. just wondered if it was possible?
my drivers saet has the handle and reclines and everything too.

I was trying to sort my car out and go Euro, but i cant seem to find pics on what mine would look like. its a 4door in black with bbs and mtec suspension.

cheers guys

Tony

Yes, you can defo fit 2 door seats in to a 4 door - I have fitted black motorsport leather in to my 320i 4 door. The differences are 1) the 2 door front seats can be tilted forward, although you can easily disable this feature by removing the actuator cables. you could then remove the levers that tilt the seat forward and blank off the holes. 2) The rear bench seat on 2 doors is square edged, on the 4 door the bench edges are rounded, to allow rear passengers to get in easier. It doesn't make a lot of difference, people can still get in the back of my car ok. I guess if you're looking for 100% originality, you need the proper 4 door kit. Seen a few sets of door cards on fleabay - I bought my door cards off a zoner.

You wouldn't want to disable the tilt mechanism. It's a popular mod amongst four door owners, especially tourings, to fit the cables and levers to the passenger side. Allows you to carry longer loads inside the car.

suppose another benefit of tilting from seats, is more room on the back seat, lol
