power hood not realinning

can anyone let me know hon to realign the power hood as it is out of sinc it stopped working the other day but i got it working again by luck the lifting motor on the right had dropped down but as i had manualy locked and unlocked the hood a couple of times when i got the power workimg again the hood compartment only opened 3/4 of the way
