I know this question has been asked millions of times but I just want to be pointed out in the rigt direction. Right on my instrument cluster the speedo does not work and the rev counter works when you give it a slap on top, would you recommend me first replacing the 300m of wire and plug that connects to the diff(I've been told you can buy this as a repair kit from bmw so a ref number would be great) or try and re solder the wires that might have snapped off the back the cluster or even the batteries?
2nd question my heaters have completely packed in, when I turn the knob from 1-4 all I see is the lights going dim as if its trying to tick over but no response is this the heater blower or the matrix either way could someone please show how to replace the blower?
