my offside light at front is on its way out cos its ddmmer than the other side...i presume thats why the check control has picked it up? sorry to sound stupid but are dipped beams the normal headlights :hammer:

yep. check all connections to lamp mate as the connection could have gone resistive which will lower the current to the bulb and it will be dimmer. :idea:

ok that sounds about right it still works but is loads dimmer than the normal light.

Where abouts should i look is it wires? or front of under the bonnet

cool a quick blast up the M180 (well if it were not for the bloody speed cameras).
That road was so good. :cry:

Check the connection of the bulb to its socket and also the connection of the plug to the head light unit. Look for corrosion on the sockets etc

not a techie but gasflowed head, 6 branch tublar manifold and exhaust, mahle pistons, alpina ecu 268 degree, the 2.7....its fast thats all i need to know

mine is standard i note you have done alot on the air flow side of things

have to meet up sometime, Geeman is from Grimsby and a top bloke but he`s sold his sport :cry:

I took the M30 afm off mate. It was causing me headaches. I am now back to stock M20 afm. You need a custom map to run the large afm properly. I took the oil filter breather off too because it stunk. lol

I am going to go down the MAF route though and a custom map to get the full ponies from the engine.

A meet would be good at some point mate.
